Frequently Asked Questions
These are questions I am frequently asked. I am also collaborating with my colleagues and members of the WA State ADHD Mental Health Professional Network to develop a resource that will provide information about other neuro-affirming services in our Western Australian State.
About My Location and Services
-
I have an office space in South Perth, but I can also work virtually. This allows me to offer appointments to clients across the world. At this point in time I am working across Australia, the UK, and America.
-
Yes! In fact, because I work online, I can offer appointments outside of standard business hours. I can see you early in the morning (7-9am AWST) or later in the evening (3:30-5:30pm AWST).
-
It depends on the individual. Virtual sessions can be a great option for people who are busy or have trouble traveling. However, in-person appointments still suit some people.
-

I'm a dual-professional, accredited as an ADHD Coach, and also as a Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered Occupational Therapist.
As a AHPRA registered health professional, I follow strict professional guidelines set by AHPRA, including those related to advertising. One of these guidelines is that we can't use client testimonials in our marketing materials. This applies to AHPRA registered health professionals, like Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers, and, of course, Occupational Therapists - which is why you will never see these professionals use testimonials either!
What to Expect from Coaching
-
Coaching is not a regulated profession, which means anyone can call themselves a coach. I recommend looking for a coach who is a member of a professional organization, such as the ICF (International Coach Federation) or ADHD WA. This ensures that the coach meets certain standards.
-
Yes, I was diagnosed with ADHD in August 2023. However, it's important to remember that a coach doesn't need to have ADHD to understand and help you. The focus of coaching is on you and your goals.
-
No, ADHD coaching and life coaching are not covered by Medicare. However, I can offer ADHD-affirming mental health therapy, which may be rebatable through Medicare if you have a diagnosed mental health condition.
-
Coaching is a collaborative process. We will work together to identify your goals and develop strategies to help you achieve them. You will have a safe space to think out loud and explore new ideas.
-
Coaching is individualized, so the results will vary depending on your goals and how you define success. We can discuss your goals and how to measure progress during our initial discovery session.
-
Please send me an email at enrichedbyexperience@gmail.com. We can discuss your situation and see if coaching is a good fit for you. I may recommend a brief assessment to better understand your needs. After our initial consultation, you will receive a welcome packet and information on scheduling your first formal session
My Background in ADHD Coaching
-
I've been working as a mental health occupational therapist since 2002. In 2020, I became interested in ADHD coaching because I saw a need for more support for adults with ADHD. I noticed that many traditional mental health services weren't well-suited for people with neurodiversities. I took additional training to become a certified ADHD coach through the ADDCA Academy of New York. I am also supervised by Dr. Michele Toner and continue to develop my coaching skills.
-
I love helping people see their strengths and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges. This is something I enjoy about both occupational therapy and coaching.
